Yep, it's entirely possible to still use WMP 11 to sync files after converting to UMS. That's old news.
However, on further investigation you will also find that although files will still sync,
playlists created in WMP will not. Further, the T-series players do not recognize standard .m3u playlists created in programs such as Winamp. Instead iriver players use a proprietary .pla format for playlists.
Fortunately, there
is still a way to get playlists on your converted-to-UMS T-series player. But it does require a separate application to convert .m3u playlists to iriver's .pla format, an application to do just that has been generously created by another poster.
The following thread provides instructions, be sure to read the last post and follow the link there to LJ Convert:
Syncing in UMS
Be sure to read and follow all instructions at the link to LordJulius's LJ Convert program.
(You may also have to install another program in order for the LJ Convert utility to work on your computer, but full instructions are provided at the link for LJ Convert. Just read and follow carefully and you're good to go on playlists!)
