Hm,
i'm still in uni and a noob, but am quite interested in writing something for this little beauty.
What we need, after this emulator, is a programming environment, a framework / set of APIs that abstract out the hardware, and make it easier to program for the PMP.
the PMP being based on a linux distro, should be easier to program, but we need to probe into the system's hardware capabilities,
and how the linux kernel communicates with, and uses them. (Then we can make a custom mplayer, and support more formats...)
