i think mine is an isolated case and the probability of something like that happening again is not exactly big.
i'd always choose clix over nano. it's cheaper (at least mine was), has a wonderful display, it's very compact, it's not overrated as ipods are, can reproduce video (which is actually quite comfortable to watch), it has great sound, fm radio, etc...
