It would seem the decision has been made for me, as the piece of poo iTunes is, it won't install.

It requires the latest version of Quicktime, no problem I already had that. Yet, as a part of the installation process it decided it was going to uninstall QUicktime and replace it with a newer version (though it was actually the same version).
So, it started uninstalling, then decided something was wrong and now I can't remove Quicktime, I can't install a new copy of it and I can't install iTunes.

I'll see if I can get something else to work, something that wasn't written by Apple and, therefore, won't mess up and break my computer.



edit: ok, so after using about three different clean-up programs and having to manually fiddle with the registry, I managed to fix the problem iTunes caused allowing it to finally reinstall the same version of Quicktime I had anyway.
So, I've got it installed now and I'm gonna see if I can finally get some music onto my Nano...
