Er, yeah, that's a story that is still unfolding.
I went for the Audio-Technica EM7s (not the wooden over-the-ear phones, a model down from them but about 1/3 the price), the idea being they'd be something half-way decent I could use whilst still umming and ahhing over the E4s.
But they have not been delivered yet. I've contacted the seller and they are looking into it but it's very frustrating.

Well, size and battery life were the important things for me (after an 8GB capacity) and the Nano beats the competition under those caveats.
