Smile Just replaced drive in H140 and it's running well

Hi all. On 8 November 2006, I've successfully replaced the hard drive in the H140 with a Toshiba MK6006GAH.

After putting it all back together, I connected my PC to the H140 via USB 2.0/Hi-Speed and used Paragon Partition Manager Pro to partition the drive as one large FAT32 partition of just under 60'000'000'000 bytes. Capacity shows up as 55.6 GiB. I did a surface & filesystem test on it and that turned out OK.

The drive is running fine so far and is less noisy than the Toshiba MK4004GAH that was previously in my H140. I purchased it off eBay in September 2006 for around 120 USD.

I guess my next upgrade on the unit will be either a bigger HDD or a flash solution (if such a thing would run on my unit).
