You should be able to charge your PMP with your LG charger but I would not suggest charging your phone with your PMP charger. The numbers that are different are the Amp Hours rating (how many amps that are put out per hour). The PMP charger puts out twice the amperage as the LG charger. Lithium batteries (like in your PMP and your cellphone) can only be charged so fast or they can/will explode. Hopefully this will help.
