PMC-120 20GB HD change to 40GB

I'm very new here, but this is the only forum which I get support for the pmc-120. I bought the player from america, because it isn't possible to buy it in europe and so I not get support . My question is, can I change the 20GB HD to a 40GB HD???? What must I do, that it will work???
