About the firmwares: I checked them in a hex editor, and after some changes
to H3Mod (available for download on
http://www.cerebus.de/iriver) I can open
them, and they look like firmware alright. Just renamed the exe to hex. Still,
even though they come directly from iriver's server, I'll rather wait for an
official list of changes before I upgrade.
