baheglobob- I'm have my thoughts about making a hole in my wooden table (pretty thick table) and mesure where the cables should go and therefor drill holes for the cables. If this is going to work out or not? Holy smoke I don't know but it's worth a try.

I've done this and it works a treat. 1)To mark the holes removed the leather case 2) get a piece of paper and place it on the bottom of the player and rub it gently with your fingernail, this will leave a impression for the exact locations of the plugs (you could use a pencil, I can never find one).
3) drill the holes so your plugs are a nice tight fit. 4) Then glue the leads in. when gluing the leads push the plug right through and then put the glue in the hole.Plug the leads to your player and push the plugs backinto the table. Put two macthes or a spacer between the player and the table to prevent glue gettig on the player. Then allow the glue to set
thoroughly before moving the player. Itwill get very messy if you dont wait. I cut a small rectangle of black felt the size of my player, cut two holes in it and fitted it over the plugs (Just for looks).
Then if you want you could make three sides and a back so it looks cool.
