I have bought a new iriver T10 512MB Mp3 player. And I've been having problems from the start. I have WMP 11 (beta) so I needed to upgrade the firmware according to iriver. I downloaded there firmware upgrader application, but it did not detect my device
, the name of the device was never changed. Also, when I tried manual instalation of the firmware, by putting the .hex file onto the player, the player froze, along with the window on the computer, until I pulled the cable out of the player. When doing that, the window closed and the device removed sound played. But, the player remained frozen (had to remove batter to unfreeze it). I think the device is defective out of the box
any suggestions or fixes? Thanks.
