You can convert your player from MTP (that's the acronym you were looking for
) to UMS by following these instructions...

After the conversion it will simply appear as a drive in My Computer which you can copy and paste stuff to. After you've added your music, you will need to run "EasyH10" (
http://easyh10.sourceforge.net/) to update the database. Enjoy!
