Hi! I've got iriver H10 Pure 5GB and, at first, had the same problem you're talking about. I was very upset and thaught something's wrong with my device. But, luckily, the problem has to do with version of firmware you're using. You should upgrade to the newest version of firmware, and the problem you're talking about will be gone, hopefully forever (since I had upgraded about 5-6 months ago, I never had a problem like that again). One suggestion more: if you have MTP device, and you don't use DRM'ed content (songs bought from online music shops), it would be best to switch to UMS firmware. It's a way faster and more reliable than MTP version, and you have nothing to lose.
