Yes, that helps a lot. There is something of information overload here.  do you recommend that I utilize Windows Media Player? Do I understand correctly that there are other alternatives, including full on "software interface" replacements? If there are, I'm sure that everyone has an opinion, but I'm not a real fan of Media Player. But I'll use it if it makes sense to not make any modifications initially and just get some music files on and make sure all the parts work as advertised. I am not a fan of wmp, and with this player it seems to cause a lot of problems. I drag and drop files to my 2 h10s and have never had a problem with either save for a couple of freezes over the course of a year +.
If you look through the h10 forums, I think you will see that a lot of the issues that continually pop up can in some way be connected to wmp/and or subscription based music services.
