If it's coming from billboard there's definately some influence from the record industry. And that being the case, you have to realize that any player that does not support DRM'ed music from online stores, is not worthy of mention. In fact it might even be intentionally left out because it would imply that the digital music was either made from a pre-owned recording or a pirated source, neither of which would produce revenue for the Big Four.
That's just my opinion, I could be wrong...
