Auto Sync Feature
A question from an H-series user....
I notice that the new iFP-300 firmware revision has a feature called "Auto Sync" that splits up large recordings into individual tracks based on a pause in the signal. The H120 has an optical input and I would like to record an entire CD to one file per track, rather than one big file - as happens at the moment. The Auto Sync function is slated for release in a new revision of firmware for the h-series in October.
Do any iFP users have experience with the Auto Sync function? Does it do what it's supposed to do? My experience with features that are bolted on post release is that they are never as well implemented as those that are built from the ground up. I would love to be proved wrong with this, though...
