Hi Reddshack,

It was actually reletively easy to build. It took two evenings to actually make the holder and the bracket, one evening to spray them black and then leave to dry, and an hour or so the next evening to assemble the holder to the bracket, glue the felt into the holder and then mount it in the car. I was made with items I had lying around in the garage except for the felt which cost all of 69p (around $1 US) and the black spray paint.

This one was originally going to be a trial effort (or a prototype) to see how it was going to go and learn how to make a better one next time. However, I am quite pleased with it the way it is so I may not bother.
