As much as I'd like to help, my main machine is a linux box. I
do use OS X at work, but my only experience with iRiver players under OS X is the H300 series. Since these appear as UMS devices, they're a no brainer... I know there are many users wishing to use their H10s with OS X, but I can't comment on a player I don't own.
I guess a couple of well placed answers to rather simple questions, plus my near constant pimping of
iFish have mislead some people.
