Newer tech 1g ipod replacement.
- if you had any problem during the replacement that might be related, like having to solder wires to the battery or something.
May have very briefly shorted the bettery when changing the pins around so it's got the correct polarity for the Iriver.
It was fine for weeks untill the First time I a drained the battery fully then charged it! somewhere between the player switching of and charging it the battery swelled( more like inflated with a gas of some sort).
It was pressing hard on the disc enough to stop it working with the case closed, but it works fine when open.

My battery came with a 1 year warenty so i got a replacement free
. all the details as above except the no complications this time as yet. going to try and fully discharge it and recharge it a few times before i say for certain that it's fine.
