Because Rockbox is as of yet unoptomised it drains the battery faster than the iRiver FW does. So 13 hrs instead of 20 is prob right.
While changing the battery capacity value to its max of 3200mAh seems to give you the time you would expect it's not where it should be set. Having it set to this is what makes your battery seem to drain twice as fast.
Set it back to 1900mAh to get a more accurate time remaining reading.
As for the prob carrying across to the iRiver FW, I didn't think it should but if it is the reason I'd say is beyond me anyway! But have you tried flashing a new un-Rockboxed copy of 1.29 or whatever version you're using to see if that solves it?
