Wanted to share my story..
After dropping my beloved h140 and knackering the hard drive, I decided this was the ideal time to try upgrading to a 60gb hard drive. I bought the Toshiba MK6006GAH from dabs.com.
Taking apart the player is easy if you have the right screwdriver, sadly I'm not techie enough to tell you which size. I'm sure you'll figure it out. When the player was apart I (gently) pulled the protective rubber surrounding the hard drive away. Then I disconnected the drive, sounds tricky but is really simple. Simply slide the drive towards the top of the player. It's just as simple to slide the new drive back in.
The next part was when I started tearing my hair out. To save you this stress I'll tell you what I eventually did. The drive must be formatted to Fat32 otherwise it won't work. Sadly Windows doesn't do this for drives over 32gb. I downloaded a fab little utility called SwissKnife to be found here:

This will format your drive to Fat32. HOwever there is one more catch if you want to get Rockbox working. The drive must have a primary and NOT an extended partition.
That's it. I now have an Iriver h160 with rockbox!
