Regarding the forgetting password. Can there be a way like with a mobile phone that before you put the firmware file on the player it is generated by a program and outputs a code for you to enter if you forget your password and this feature could be added at the password screen. Like the phones PUK code.
I see your point about the text password but i think it would just be far too time consuming. Maybe a choice of text of joystick movements.
I would much prefer my password to be something like Up, Up, Left, Right, Down, Up, Left and click to confirm.
