Hi Deadman,
Linus has really no time for dev at the moment since he has some real life problems (not the place to talk about this here)...
Don't panic even if Linus leave the active devloppement (don't think it's the case) the iRiverport isn't abandonated...

Just let them some time... About the Rockboy project it's a plugin don't forget this... His author (HCl) isn't involved in any way in the Audio API part...

Also keep in mind the developpement isn't "constant", it a "step process"... When the actual difficulties (choice of an AUDIO Api architecture) will be solved progress will be back too... Till next difficulties...
