I have version 1.02 on my 320 (bought on January 5th 2005),which I believe is out of date (the battery keeps running down too quickly). But whenever I access the Iriver Main Website there is a message saying all new machines were sold with the latest firmware. As I bought the machine in the US, although I live in the UK I suppose I'm obliged to update with the US firmware?
