Everyone gets them and I came on today and there where another 50. I sent 10 yesterday.

Its very easy to overlook how quick you can get that much information on a drive, you can buy standard drives for your PC and have a TB for under £700, remember to catalogue the web google needs lots of space and so uses that to help the accounts, when you log in your account is uncompressed so they save space using compression. Very few people use the thing as a drive, many dont even know its possible most cant use it anyway as 1Gb at todays connection speeds is still a long process.
Also people there is now POP support for the account so this will remove the burden on googles servers allowing you to have the emails on your computer, this means that the usage will be even less as people like businesses will use that method rather than waste connection time and bandwidth on the constant checking and refreshing.

Also please people dont let your email out freely bots patrol forums and this will only add to the spam you get so save the hastle and communicate addresses in the PM system that is secure from Bots/crawlers.
