Jenn K. Lee is a busy lady, and has just released her exhaustive review of the new iriver E100. A great review with good photos and in depth commentary on iriver’s newest release into the flash player market. “The E100 is still a solid player that does many things well, but it isn’t the stellar DAP many were hoping for when details were first revealed at CES 2008. Most users will be pleased by the unit’s sound quality, battery life, design, and extra features, but some (like me) will be left wanting more. The iriver E100 is undeniably good . . . but it’s not great.”

You may or may not know that the iriver Mplayer has a portable speaker solution. Keeping with the design of the Mplayer itself, the portable speaker looks, well, just like the Mplayer! Jenn K. Lee over at Pocketables.net has put together a nice review (as usual) on the unit, so head on over and gaze at the wonder that is the Mplayer Portable Speaker.

iriver continues to add new accessories for the clix 2, the Clip Case being one of them. A basic case with a belt clip attachment and magnetic snap closure, the Clip Case allows you to listen to music while the player is on your belt. It is constructed of leather on the outside with “chamude” lining the interior. We’ve included a short unboxing video after the break.
Flashback to 2004 - iriver iHP-120 Review by Sweet Spot

WOW! 2004 seems like a hundred years ago. It was a time when iriver was king of the flash player market and a time when the venerable iHP-120 was young and garnering a crowd of geeks, lusting after its unique design and bevy of included features. Still the only consumer digital audio player to be released with an optical output*. Back in February 2004, our very own Doug (Sweet Spot) gave us his review of this fine player. I was able to salvage the review from misticriver v1.2 just before it met its maker. In fine S.S. fashion the review is lengthy, and it’s been unedited, presented to you here in all it’s glory. Take a ride back in time and enjoy!
